Meals in Minutes Benefits

Convenience
When you get home, probably the last thing you want to do is start making decisions on what or where to eat or rummaging through the pantry to see if you even have anything you can make.
Hit the drive-through on the way home? If you've ever been "parked" while they back-order your food you know it isn't always a great timesaver. And often the calories and sodium levels in these meals are off the charts!
With Meals in Minutes you turn on your oven and place your meal in it. Rinse a few veggies and throw them on a plate. While you get changed, spend a few minutes with the kids, or organize your evening, your meal is getting ready to eat.
In about 10-15 minutes you're eating. And relaxed!

Healthier Food*
One of the key things about Meals in Minutes is that it all starts with the best and freshest ingredients available. Any time we use a prepared ingredient (i.e. tomato paste, chutney etc.) we select only those with the absolute minimum of ingredients and NEVER the industrially-produced flavourings, colourings or additives so widespread in other foods.
When you're making dinner, you probably wouldn't reach into the cupboard for that jar of Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Autolyzed Yeast Extract or Artificial Colour and Flavour. If you are trying to eat healthier, you probably already know that many labels can be misleading (for example, anything "hydrolyzed" or "autolyzed" is actually MSG). Well, we steer clear of those types of ingredients.
If you looked at the ingredients we use to create Meals in Minutes menu choices you would recognize everything - because it's all real food.
Gluten intolerant? Many people are and it can be a real challenge finding prepared foods that avoid using wheat, barley, rye or oats. Meals in Minutes menus often feature a variety of meals that have no gluten added (Celiac-friendly thickeners are used where necessary). Look for the indicator beside the dish name.
3. Taste,
taste, taste!
One of the best things about Meals in Minutes is that it's delicious. The main reason for that is that in each and every recipe we use the best and freshest ingredients we can find, use classic techniques for preparing and cooking (the "slow food" thing), and try and remain as authentic as possible in our flavours (especially ethnic foods!).
By doing this we remain true to what made certain meals your favourites in the first place - great taste!
*One thing to keep
in mind here is that the health benefits of Meals in Minutes are mostly about
avoiding industrial additives. We still use oils, cheeses, salt as necessary,
bacon, chicken that sometimes has skin on and so forth. These meals are not
designed to meet requirements for low-fat, ultra-low sodium or other
